Description
BrainVyne is looking for a program manager to direct our Bay Area 2020 Operations. The Summer Programs Manager will assume overall leadership of the Bay Area summer camp operations, including staff management, supplies management, day-to-day operations and preparation for the camp weeks.

Who are we?
Founded in 2013, BrainVyne operates summer day camp programs at 25+ locations throughout the Bay Area. 
 
What’s the job, really?
  • Camp Managers may have full-time jobs during the school year, and commit ~ 8 to 10 hours each week to their Camp Manager role pre-camp (February-May/June)
  • Pre-Camp season, Camp Managers will work in close association with our Recruiting Specialist to ensure we have adequate team members to run our programs
  • Camp Managers must be able to attend training (Spring/Summer Instructor Training)
  • As summer rolls around, Managers work 20-30 hrs during camp weeks with a focus on Supplies Management, Organization, Driver Coordination, Pick and Pack Assistant Management
  • You’ll create and build partnerships like a boss. As the face of BrainVyne in the community you serve, you’ll work closely with your Camp Director on navigating grassroots marketing efforts to foster relationships with parents.
What are we looking for?
  • College graduate or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working with K-8th grade children
  • Demonstrated leadership experience (operations and people management experience a plus)
  • Ability to work part-time February through May/June (~8 hours per week), and 25-30 hrs in summer 
  • Camp experience is a bonus, though not required
  • Readiness to stick around; we find that our team and team members benefit from a 3 year minimum commitment
Work Location
January-May/June: Pre-camp season work is  a mix of remote as well as work in our HQ located in Palo Alto
June/July/August: Late June to Early August (8 weeks) - must be available to work on Monday early morning, Friday evenings (End at 7:00 PM) and one of the weekend days. Remainder days are flexible. All work will be in our HQ in Palo Alto, with regular visits to camp sites on an as needed basis.
